Bill Patry’s comments are well thought out, and I hope that certain government officials are paying attention (although I doubt they are!). There were some comments after that piece that were equally interesting in that apparently Canada’s laws already incorporate most of WIPO. Perhaps a little more common sense in that direction from the lawmakers will help Canada’s situation from becoming an embarrassing one!
